Maria Taylor

Maria Diane Taylor ( born May 21, 1976 in Birmingham, Alabama, United States) is an American singer- songwriter and multi-instrumentalist in the indie-rock and folk - range.

Life

At fifteen, she started as a member of the band Little Red Rocket. This band brought Who Did You Pay (1997) and It 's in the Sound (2000 ), two albums with Geffen Records out; after that the band broke up. After moving to Athens Taylor in the U.S. state of Georgia, she and her band - mate Orenda Fink, the duo Azure Ray. After three albums with Azure Ray began with musical solo projects.
