Mariager Municipality
Mariager Commune was until December 2006 a Danish municipality in the former Aarhus office in the north of Jutland. Since January 2007, the largest part, together with the former municipalities Ebeltoft, Hobro and Arden, as well as the school district Hvilsom the municipality Aalestrup and the place Hannerupgård the municipality Nørager the new Commune Mariagerfjord. Havndal joined the greater community of Randers.
Mariager municipality was created in the course of administrative reform of 1970 and included the following Sogn:
