Mariama Signaté

Mariama Signate (born 22 July 1985 in Dakar, Senegal ) is a French handball player.

Signate began in 1990, the handball matches in Toulon. Then the backcourt player between 2003 and 2005 played in Le Havre. Her next stop was Fleury- les- Aubrais, where she played for three years. Closed In 2008, HBC Nîmes Signate to, with whom she a year later won the EHF Challenge Cup. In summer 2010 Signate joined the Danish first division club Aalborg DH. After a season in Denmark, she joined the French club Issy Paris HB.

Signate completed so far 147 appearances for the French selection, in which they scored 424 hits. With the French Équipe, the right-handed took in 2008 at the Olympic Games in China and 2012 in London part. A year later Signate took part in the World Championships, where she was Vice World Champion. Signate was also voted into the All-Star Team of the World Cup. The French continued to participate in the World Cup 2013.
