Marian Unger
Marian Unger ( born November 17, 1983 in Markranstadt ), nicknamed " Oli ", is a German football goalkeeper.
Career
Marian Unger comes from near Leipzig, but he grew up in East Berlin. He went to the SV Empor Berlin, where he played first in the storm and then in central midfield. Only in the C- youth he turned with a knee injury to score, found like about it and was goalkeeper. In the B- youth he played for BFC Dynamo, before he came to Jena and hired at FC Carl Zeiss.
After two years in youth he joined as third-choice goalkeeper in the senior level. Although he moved the following year already at number two in the hierarchy goalkeeper ago, but the perspective on operations as the number one lacked. The came in 2004 with an offer of MSV Neuruppin. In his first year threw him though once an injury in the battle for space between the posts back, but eventually he prevailed and won with the club the runner-up in the Oberliga Nordost. In addition, they won the National Cup and qualified for the DFB Cup.
At the beginning of the season 2005/ 06 Unger moved then into the national spotlight when the MSV had to play in the first round of the cup against FC Bayern Munich. Despite the 0-4 defeat of the young goalkeeper showed an outstanding performance. He was then later even invited a few weeks by the Bavarians for a trial, but that led to nothing. In Neuruppin he convinced the second year, but after the club had missed for the second time in a row as runner-up the ascent, he left the east in the direction of Osnabrück.
He joined the division side VfL Osnabruck, was there but only number two and played only a few times in the second team in the Oberliga Nord. Since its potential for use decreased more in the 2nd Bundesliga by the rise of the first team, he moved within the League 1 FC Magdeburg. But even there he did not come at number one over and only a few games.
As the Movers SV Babelsberg was then the season 2008/ 09 03 on the search for new goalkeepers, Marian Unger took the chance to change. The Potsdamers he instantly had a very successful season with only 20 goals conceded in 32 games and 17 - to - zero games. The team reached number 3 and the 25 -year-old goalkeeper was named team captain. With even just 16 goals conceded and the Regional Championship the next season was even more successful. Thus Unger played in the 2010/11 season for the first time in a professional league for the first time and he also denied any minutes of the entire season, although he was placed in the meantime because of the varying benefits, but showed the whole team in question. In April 2011, he played his 100th official match for the Babelsberg. In July 2012, he signed for FSV Zwickau, where he will play under his former FC Carl Zeiss Jena players Torsten Ziegner.
