Mariana Codruţ

Mariana Codruţ ( born 1 November 1956 in Prisacani in Iaşi ) is a Romanian writer.

Life and work

Mariana Codruţ joined the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi from a study of philology (French and Romanian) and then worked as a teacher. After 1989, she was an editor of various literary magazines ( " Convorbiri lite rare" and " Sud -Est "). From 1996 to 2005 she held at the University Iaşer seminars on journalistic writing. Currently she works as an editor in the publishing house of the University of Iaşi.

She has published articles in journals and anthologies in Spain, Russia, the Czech Republic, Macedonia, Germany, Canada, Austria, Italy, Poland, among others and was invited to readings in cities around the world: Vienna, Salzburg, Struga, Magdeburg, Leipzig, New York, among others

Your first of now six volumes of poetry appeared already 1982 1997 she published her first novel.
