Marianna Palka

Marianna Palka ( born September 7, 1981 in Glasgow, Scotland; native Marianna Palka Bronislava Barbara ) is an American actress, screenwriter, film producer and film director of Polish descent.

Life and achievements

Marianna Palka was the daughter of Barbara and Tadeusz Palka, in Scotland led a company in the 1980s. She pulled at the age of 17 years to New York City, where she studied acting at the Atlantic Theater Company. Together with Jason Ritter, she founded the production companies Morning Knight, Inc.

Palka helped with the production of the film drama The Big Kahuna - A big fish (1999), starring Kevin Spacey and Danny DeVito, and the film comedy Sam the Man ( 2000) with Annabella Sciorra. From 1999 to 2001 she also served as a director of plays. In the film, Earth Day (2001 ) was to hear her voice alongside those of Mark Hamill and Jason Ritter. In the film drama Good Dick (2008) Palka worked as a director, writer, producer and actress in the leading role. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 18, 2008 competition entry.

Palka lives in Los Angeles.
