Marianna Zorba

Marianna Zorba (Greek Μαριάννα Ζορμπά, born 1967 in Athens ) is a Greek singer.

Zorba sang in Greek dance halls until she was discovered by the musician Manolis Manouselis as a singer for his composition Horepse. This folkloric Title Greece distributed at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1997 in Dublin and was ranked 12th Shortly afterwards married Zorba and Manouselis.

The couple moved in 2002 to the island of Crete, where they founded the musical duo Notios Anemos. Since 2010, the couple lives in Wuppertal. Here Zorba teaches at a Greek school.
