Marianne Pettersen

Marianne Pettersen ( born April 12, 1975 in Oslo ) is a former Norwegian football player who was also active for the Norwegian national team from 1994 to 2003.

Career

Clubs

Pettersen played most of their professional career for the Norwegian club Asker FK. In 2001 she moved to England where he played for the women's football department of Fulham FC. 2003 Pettersen finished her career as an active football player first and returned four years later as a fitness trainer and assistant of Eli Landsem to Asker. Due to bad luck with injuries within the team they were in the same year her comeback as a player and ended their engagement as co-trainer.

National

Pettersen took in 1996 and 2000 participated in the Olympic Games, where she won with her team the bronze or gold medal. She also played in the 1995 World Cup, was able to secure the title in Norway, as well as the World Championships in 1999 and 2003. Pettersen graduated between 1994 and 2003 a total of 98 games for the national team of Norway, scoring 66 goals. This makes them the most successful to date scorer of the Norwegian selection.
