Marianne Sägebrecht
Marianne Sägebrecht ( born August 27, 1945 in Starnberg ) is a German actress and comedienne.
Although they already played at the Realschule in a theater group, Marianne Sägebrecht first completed training as a medical technical assistant. At the age of nineteen she married and had a daughter. With her husband and her sister Sägebrecht served four years as the cabaret bar " Spinnradl " in Starnberg.
After her divorce in 1976 she led the Künstlerkneipe "Mom Bräu " in the Schwabing district of Munich, where they made contact with actors and artists of Circus Roncalli. From 1977 to 1981 Sägebrecht worked at cabaret "Opera curiosa " and played from 1979 incidentally also theater. Since they now had a reputation as an all round artist who helped director Percy Adlon her in 1983 in the swing for her first film role.
By following these films she quickly became extremely popular. Again and again she mimed credible the simple ( overweight ) woman next door who puts up with nothing. Among her best-known films Sugar Baby ( 1984), Out of Rosenheim (1987) Rosalie Goes Shopping (1989 ) - all three directed by Percy Adlon, War of the Roses (1989) and Asterix and Obelix vs. Caesar (1998). In France, inter alia, as Michel Piccolis housekeeper Martha and I and as a foster mother of the little Rémi in foundling. In 1996, she starred in The Fiend (The Ogre ) with John Malkovich, Gottfried John and Simon McBurney. In Café perjury she had a guest appearance.
