Mariano Rumor

Mariano Rumor ( born June 16, 1915 in Vicenza, † January 22, 1990 in Rome ) was an Italian politician. He was from 1968 to 1970 and from 1973 to 1974 Prime Minister of Italy.

In 1946 he was a member of the Constituent Assembly; subsequent to 1979, he belonged to the Chamber of Deputies. His first government post he assumed in 1959 as Minister of the Interior, before he first briefly Minister of the Interior in 1963; He held again 1972-1973 this position.
