Marid

In the Arab mythology Maride (Arabic مارد, DMG Marid ) are described as ruler of the jinn who find refuge in the aquatic environment. They are the most powerful type of jinn, proud and arrogant. Like every jinn, they have a free will, however, be compelled to carry out tasks. You can give people fulfill wishes, but usually a struggle, certain rituals or much flattery are prerequisite.
