Maridi
Federal State
Maridi is a small town with about 18 000 inhabitants in Maridi County East of the state of Western Equatoria in South Sudan. The place is close to the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, about 295 kilometers west of Juba, the capital of South Sudan. Maridi is the most important commercial center of the state and has a regional airport with unpaved runway.
With the help of USAID, a power plant was inaugurated in 2011 Malidi.
