Marie Bouliard

Marie- Geneviève Bouliar (* 1762 in Paris, † 1825 in Bois d' Arcy ) was a French painter of classicism.

Life

Marie- Geneviève Bouliar was born in 1762 as the only daughter of a tailor in Paris. She sat at the leading portrait painter of Paris, train Duplessis. On the big official art exhibition, the Paris Salon of 1791, she made ​​her debut with a portrait. In the Salon of 1791 794 images were represented by 298 artists, including 21 women.
