Marie-Claire Baldenweg

Marie -Claire Baldenweg ( born March 27, 1954 in Solothurn, Switzerland ) is an international painter.

Life

Marie -Claire Baldenweg is married to the musician Pfuri Baldenweg. From the joint compound has three children, Nora, Diego and Lionel Vincent went out. She lives with her family in Byron Bay, Australia. The hallmark of their work is that they used plastic bags as the main subject in their works since the early 1970s. Her style can be described as a kind of pop art and photorealism.

Highlights

  • A six-month solo exhibition under the name " Carried Away " in 1988 aimed at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.
