Marie Elisabeth of Valois

Marie -Elisabeth de Valois ( born October 27, 1572 Paris, † April 2, 1578 in Amboise ) was the only child of the French king Charles IX. and Elisabeth of Austria.

With less than two years, Marie- Elisabeth lost his father, and in 1575 left her mother the French court. The education was now in the hands of their governess, Madame Crissé.

You should pretty and her parents, especially her mother, have been similar. Brantome writes of her unusual intelligence and eagerness to learn, which made the little princess act early on as an adult. So they should have inquired as to who had been her father during his lifetime well-disposed to reward these people for it later.

She died at the age of five.
