Marie-Laurence Jungfleisch

Marie- Laurence Jungfleisch ( born October 7, 1990 in Paris, France ) is a German high jumper who competes for the LAV Tübingen ( also called LAV Stadtwerke Tübingen ).

Life and sports career

Jungfleisch is the daughter of a Frenchman from Martinique and a German from Baden -Baden. As a three year old she came with her family to Freiburg im Breisgau. In 2011 she moved to Bad Cannstatt.

After Jungfleisch German A- Junior Champion had become 2008 and 2009, she jumped in May 2010 in Epping first 1.90 m. The 2011 season began in the hall with a further increase in output to 1.92 m in the high jump event with music in Arnstadt on 19 February 2011 and winning the German Cup Hall on February 27, in the absence of the injured Ariane Friedrich. In the outdoor season, she started with a further increase, in Epping again to 1.93 m on May 22, 2011. During Springer meeting in Epping in May 2013 she qualified with a jump over 1.95 meters for participation in the World Championships in Moscow in 2013, where they reached the final. Jungfleisch is trained by national coach Tamas Kiss since 2011.
