Marie-Rose Morel

Marie-Rose Louise Constant Morel ( born August 26, 1972 in Antwerp, † February 8, 2011 ibid ) was a Belgian politician. She was a member of the Flemish Parliament since 2004, previously she was a member of the Belgian Senate (N -VA).

Morel was in 1994 voted Miss Flanders. They moved shortly before her death after pods in the province of Antwerp, where she was an active local member. 2008 was diagnosed with uterine cancer. On 8 February 2011 she succumbed to this disease.

A month before her death married Morel politician Frank Vanhecke.
