Marie-Thérèse Sanchez-Schmid

Marie -Thérèse Sanchez -Schmid (* November 15, 1957 in Perpignan ) is a French politician of the Union pour un Mouvement Populaire.

Life

Sanchez -Schmid studied English to become a teacher. After her studies she worked as a teacher of English. Sanchez -Schmid since 2009 Member of the European Parliament.

Sanchez -Schmid is a member of the Group of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats).

In the period from 2009 to 2014 she is a member of the Committee on Culture and Education and the Delegation for relations with South Africa. As a deputy she is in the Committee on Regional Development, in the Delegation for relations with the Mashreq countries, in the Delegation to the ACP -EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly and the delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean.
