Marija Jovanović

Marija Jovanović ( born December 26, 1985 in Titograd, Yugoslavia ) is a Montenegrin Women's Handball.

Jovanović initially played at zrk Medicinar Sabac and moved in October 2005 to zrk Budućnost Podgorica. With Budućnost the backcourt player won the 2006 and the 2010 European Cup Winners' Cup, and in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, the league and cup double. In summer 2011, Jovanović signed a contract with the Romanian club CS Oltchim Ramnicu Valcea. With Oltchim she won the championship in 2012 and 2013, and in 2012 the trophy. In the summer of 2013, she moved to the Russian first division GK Astrachanotschka.

Jovanović belongs to the cadres of the Montenegrin national team. In summer 2012, Jovanović took with Montenegro participated in the Olympic Games in London, where she won the silver medal. In the same year she won the European Championship with Montenegro.
