Marilyn Cochran

Marilyn Cochran ( born February 7, 1950 in Richmond, Vermont) is a former American alpine skier. She is the sister of Olympic gold medalist Barbara Ann Cochran, as well as the equally successful ski racer Lindy Cochran and Bob Cochran.

The World Ski Championships 1970 in Val Gardena, she was third in the combination, behind the Frenchwoman Michèle Jacot and Florence Steurer.

Even more successful she was in the Ski World Cup. In the 1969 season, she won the giant slalom World Cup. Overall, they won three World Cup races, a giant slalom and slalom two. In addition, it was depending on second and third six times. In March 1974, she ended her sports career.
