Marilyn Strickland

Marilyn Strickland (born 1962 in Seoul) is an American politician. She is Mayor of Tacoma in Washington state.

Marilyn Strickland was born in 1962 in Seoul, South Korea and moved in 1967, owing to the stationing of her father in Fort Lewis, with her ​​parents in Tacoma. Strickland was Marketing Manager at Starbucks, an official of the Tacoma Public Library and is a member of the City Council of Tacoma since 2008.
