Marina de Van

Marina de Van Nives ( born August 2, 1971 in Boulogne- Billancourt, France ) is a French director, screenwriter and actress.

Life

Marina de Van, daughter of a musicologist and a lawyer, the Lycée Henri IV visited in Paris and then completed a degree in philosophy at the Sorbonne. De Van, who wanted to be a sculptor, began in 1993 at the film school La fémis a degree in directing, which she completed in 1996. Her brother Adrien de Van has worked as an actor and as such came several times in the films his sister to use, so even in the dark in the forest (Le Petit poucet, 2011), de Vans adaptation of Charles Perrault's fairy tale Tom Thumb.
