Marine Conservation Society

The Marine Conservation Society (MCS ) is a nonprofit British organization that is committed to the protection and preservation of marine habitats, coastal areas and the living organisms therein prescribed. It was founded in 1983 and is based in Ross-on- Wye, Herefordshire, England, United Kingdom.

The Marine Conservation Society is committed to sustainable fisheries and has published, among other information for consumers rated the different types of fish in their sustainability. Furthermore, the MCS campaigns performs, which is to make the impact of waste, such as plastic bags or balloons balloon flight competitions, on fish and other living things clearly. The organization performs, mainly conservation programs in Scotland and Wales.
