Marine Debauve

Marine Debauve ( born September 3, 1988 in Dijon ) is a 1.54 m wide French gymnast.

Debauve began eight years ago with the Artistic Gymnastics. 1999 at age 11 she did gymnastics her first international competition and was French junior champion.

In 2003 she was French around champion; In the same year she took part in her first world championship.

In 2004 she was a member of the French national team at the Olympic Games in Athens, which finished sixth. Marine Debauve itself was seventh in the individual all-around, thus achieving the best finish, each occupied a Frenchwoman in this discipline.

In 2005 she became the first Frenchwoman European Champion in the all around. In the same year she ended her active career in competitive sports because of back problems.

In December 2007 Debauve announced its intention to return to the international stage at the 2008 Olympics. The return to the French team after three years she reached after she was fifth at the French Championships in 2008 in the all-around and second on balance beam. This makes it one after 2004 back to the French selection for the Olympic Games.
