Mário Haberfeld

Mário Haber box ( born January 25, 1976 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian racing driver. In 1998 he won the British Formula 3 Championship. Subsequently, he was from 1999 to 2002 in the International Formula 3000 Championship and from 2003 to 2004 in the Champ Car series active.

Career

Haber field began his motorsport career in 1991 in karting, where he was active until 1993. In his career, he continued to take part in some kart racing and won the 2001 and 2003 500 Milhas de Granja Viana. In 1994, Haber field in formula racing and was in his first season in eleventh British Formula Ford In the following season, the Brazilian remained in this series and improved to fourth overall. He also finished second at the Formula Ford Festival behind Kevin McGarrity.

In 1996, Haber field to Manor Motorsport in the European Formula Renault and was fifth with a win in the championship. For the 1997 season of Brazilian by Martin Donnelly Racing was taken for the British Formula 3 championship under contract. He chose two races for themselves and finished second in the championship in sixth place. 1998 denied without rhyme its second season in the British Formula 3 Championship for Paul Stewart Racing, where he was team mate Luciano Burti. The Brazilian won six races this year and secured the league title in front of his countrymen Enrique Bernoldi and Burti.

He was taken from West Competition for Formula 3000 under contract in 1999 and was team-mate Nick Heidfeld. The season was very disappointing for Haber field: While Heidfeld dominant decided the championship titles, the Brazilians could only qualify for half of the race and stayed the entire season with a 14th place as best result with no points. In 2000 he moved to Fortec Motorsport, where he again received a German teammate Alexander Scheld. Haber field while now succeeded at every race qualifying and he was quicker than Scheld, he remained, however, still no points. It is significant that Jamie Davies, the Haber field represented for two races, scored a second place in the same team.

For the 2001 field Haber received as team-mate Mark Webber a cockpit in supernova Racing. With a fourth place in Barcelona this year he made his first and only in this season points placement. At the end of the season, he finished 15th overall. Again his performance was provided by his teammate, who was runner-up in the shade. In 2002, the Brazilian played his fourth season in Formula 3000 and launched on the side of Rob Nguyen for the team Astro Mega. For the first time in his Formula 3000 career, he was able to achieve regular points and a third and a second place finish he managed twice on the podium. At the end of the season, he finished seventh in the drivers' standings.

2003 left without rhyme Formula 3000 and moved to the CART series for Conquest Racing. With a fourth place as best result he finished at the end of the season in twelfth place overall. 2004 was the Brazilians in the CART series, which had meanwhile been renamed in Champ Car. He went to for Walker Racing and again scored a fourth- place as best result. In the overall classification, he finished 13th place.

After he had gone in any racing series in 2005 at the start, he entered 2006 in the Grand-Am Sports Car Series at. Rhyme or won a race and finished 13th overall. He then joined for Embassy Racing 2007 in a Radical SR9 and 2008 at an Embassy WF01 still three races of the Le Mans Series. In 2007 he scored in Interlagos with second place in the LMP2 class a podium.
