Mario Innauer

Mario Innauer (born 10 January 1990 in Graz, Styria ) is a former Austrian ski jumper and son of Olympic champion Toni Innauer.

Career

Mario Innauer debuted on January 4, 2007 on his " home system ", the Bergisel in the World Cup, where he gained as 16 at first World Cup points. On 7 January 2007, he was the best he reached in Bischofshofen His 15 World Cup result on 4th February 2007 in Titisee -Neustadt, where he ersprang fifth.

At the Junior World Championships 2008 he fell in the second round at the maximum length, in which he incurred a hamstring and was sidelined for several weeks. In the World Cup season 2007/ 08 he came only in the two competitions in Bischofshofen used, in which he ranks 20 and 24 occupied. Also in this season him his first victory achieved in the context of the Continental Cup in Rovaniemi.

As part of the so-called Bergisel (Innsbruck ) the Four Hills Tournament 2009/10 Mario Innauer was after two years of his World Cup comeback with a 10th place. In the final competition of the Four Hills Tournament in Bischofshofen Innauer was ranked 15th

Mario Innauer jumped for the SV Innsbruck- Bergisel. He lives in Thaur. In March 2011, he retired from a fall in the trial of the Continental Cup in Wisła in his right knee cruciate ligament and lateral ligament and meniscus injuries in both knees.

In 2012 he finished the competition of the Four Hills Tournament in Bischofshofen number 57, which was enough in the standings to 67th place. In 2012 Continental Cup, he could also hardly earn points. The 2013 season he had to leave out due to injury. He started only 2 FIS competition in Winterberg.

In May 2013 he announced his career end because of persistent injury problems.
