Mario Mettbach

Mario Mettbach ( born July 24, 1952 in Hamburg ) is a German politician who served in various parties.

Profession

Mettbach worked as a shipping clerk in Hamburg until 1973 and then was a professional soldier, from 1985, a career officer. As part of the training of officers of the military professional service he was trained from 1980 to 1982 for state-approved business administration at the School of Economics of the Army in Darmstadt.

Political Biography

He worked from 1980 to 1993 Member of the CDU from 1993 to 1998, the INSTEAD party for whom he served four years of District Assembly Wandsbek to 1997. In 2000, he joined the party right at Interstate offensive. For this he moved in October 2001 in the Hamburg Parliament a; on 31 October 2001, he was construction and traffic Senator of the new government. Mettbach became the first members of the minority group of Sinti, who held a government office in Germany.

After leaving politics

When in April 2006 ended his transition money as a former senator, Mettbach awarded a contract as a logistics consultant of the Hamburg Business Development Corporation ( HWF ), in which the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg is a co-partner.
