Mario Raimondi

Career

Mario Raimondi began his career at FC Köniz where he played from 1989 to 1995. In 1995 he moved to FC Dürrenast then, after two seasons he moved to the National League B team of FC Thun. Here he was able to prevail in his second season and played in the sequence in stem formation. For the 2002/03 season Raimondi moved to FC Zurich. After just one season at the Zurich group Raimondi returned to FC Thun, who had since been promoted to the Super League. Back in Thun he showed at once again excellent performance and was also able to make his scoring prowess to the test. For the 2005/06 season Raimondi then moved to Canton rivals BSC Young Boys, where he rose to become a regular player and vice - captain. The Young Boys he was from 2008 to 2010 three times in a row Swiss runners-up. At the end of season 2012/13 Mario Raimondi announced his resignation as a professional footballer. He played his last game 1 June 2013 against FC Thun. In the 2013/14 season, he took over the office of the assistant coach of the U21 team at BSC Young Boys and also the head coach posts by DB of the FC Köniz.
