Mario Vegetti

Mario Vegetti ( born 1937 in Milan ) is an Italian Hellenist and philosophy and medical historian.

After studying at the University of Pavia, a student at the Collegio Ghislieri, Vegetti received the laurea in 1959 with a thesis on the history of Thucydides and 1967, the libera docenza in history of ancient philosophy. Since 1975 he has been there a full professor of the history of ancient philosophy in the Dipartimento di Filosofia of the University of Pavia.
