Marion Maruska

Marion Maruska (* December 15, 1972 in Vienna) is a former Austrian tennis player.

Career

Marion Maruska played from 1988 to 2001 on the WTA Tour. Their highest placing in the tennis singles world ranking she achieved on October 6, 1997 rank 50th on the WTA Tour Maruska was a tournament victory in Auckland (New Zealand) in 1996, to their credit. Your final opponent was the Austrian Judith Wiesner- Floimair which she defeated 6-3, 6-1. On the ITF level, they won in four individual tournaments and three double competitions.

She played in 1991 and 2002, a total of eight times for Austria in the Fed Cup. Maruska won two and lost six matches. She ended her active career in 2001.

On 2 December 2010, it was announced that it will operate at the OTV as coordinator for the National Training Centre South City.

She completed a sports science degree at the University of Vienna. Marion Maruska has two children.
