Marion Nestle

Marion Nestle is an American Ernährnungsexpertin and high school teacher.

From 1954 to 1959 she studied at the University of California, Berkeley, biology, or bacteriology. In 1968, she received his doctorate for a further study to Ph.D. for Microbiology. Until 1976 she worked at Brandeis University in the Biology Department as an assistant professor and lecturer. She then moved to the University of California, where she held teaching positions at various faculties and climb parallel to the Administration by the director of medical education. Since 1988, she was at the New York University in the Department of Nutrition, Food Studies and General Health Professor and Head of Chair. Since 2006 she works there as honorary professor, to a guest professor at Cornell University and in 2006 and 2007 at the University of California.

Since 2008 she has worked at the San Francisco Chronicle and since 2012 at the Washington Square News NYU as a columnist in nutrition counseling.
