Marissa Coleman

Marissa Coleman ( born January 4, 1987 in Portland, Oregon, United States) is a professional basketball player. Since 2009 she plays for the Washington Mystics in the Women's National Basketball Association.

Career

College (2005 to 2009)

Coleman studied from 2005 to 2009 at the University of Maryland. During her time at the College Coleman also played for the women's basketball team at the University, the Maryland Terrapins. Already in her freshman season, she reached the final of the Terrapins NCAA championship, where they met on the basketball team at Duke University. There it stood tied after regular time the game went into an overtime, where Coleman scored four of eight points, two of which 13 seconds before the end of the free throw line.
