Mariusz Lewandowski

Mariusz Lewandowski [ mar ʲ uʃ lɛvandɔfsci ] ( born May 18, 1979 in Legnica ) is a Polish footballer.

Association

Mariusz Lewandowski began with nine years to play football. He played for the youth team of Zaglebie Lubin, where his father was the youth team and coach was. In summer 2010, Lewandowski signed a three year contract with the second division PFK Sevastopol. In the same season he went with his team in the first division and a season later again. In the 2012/13 season he was with his club champion of the second division and rose again. There he played three years bestreitt 81 games and scored 14 goals. Since 27 November 2013, is out of contract.

National

Lewandowski played from 2000 to 2001 for the Polish U -21, for which he played 18 games and scored two goals. The Polish coach Jerzy Engel put him on February 10, 2002 game against the Faroe Islands national football team for the first time in the A- team one. Only after the 2002 World Cup, he was nominated again by new coach Zbigniew Boniek and he played four games in the qualifications for Euro 2004.

After a four year hiatus Lewandowski was recalled to the national squad on 27 September 2013 coach Waldemar Fornalik.
