Mariusz Piekarski

Mariusz Piekarski ( born March 22, 1975 in Białystok ) is a former Polish football player.

Club career

The midfielder Mariusz Piekarski played during his career in Poland Jagiellonia Białystok, Polonia Gdańsk, Zagłębie Lubin and KP Legia Warsaw. From 1996 to 1998 he played for Poland uncommon in Brazil Atlético Paranaense, Flamengo Rio de Janeiro and Mogi Mirim EC. Here he met his future wife, the television presenter Kelley Vieira. After his return to Europe he played for SC Bastia in France and for Anorthosis Famagusta in Cyprus. 2003 ended Piekarski at the age of only 28 years, his professional career. Because of his debauched lifestyle he could never really take advantage of his great talent. Since early 2009, Piekarski is football manager.

National

For Poland, he graduated in 1998 ( 0-4 against Paraguay) and then also in 2002 ( 2-1 against the Faroe Islands) per a game. They were his only two missions for his country.
