Mariusz Pudzianowski

Mariusz Pudzianowski ( born February 7, 1977 in Biała Rawska, Poland) is a Polish strongman and MMA fighters. The Strongman record title holder is also known by the nickname Pudzian, Dominator or Pyton.

Life

Mariusz Pudzianowski began on 7 December 1990 on strength training. At age 16, he participated for the first time in a motor sports competition in part, a bench press championship in which he pressed 160 kg. Two years later he rose to 205 kg. Besides making Pudzianowski since the age of eleven regular Kyokushin Karate and was active as a boxer. He also played for the Polish club KS Budowlani Łódź as a striker rugby for several years.

His first Strongman competition contested Pudzianowski on 1 May 1999 in Płock. His international career started in 2000 with a fourth place in World's Strongest Man. In 2002, Pudzianowski took first place. He repeated this success in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2008. Thus it is with five wins the sole record title holder in front of the four -time winners Jón Páll Sigmarsson and Magnús Ver Magnússon. In 2004, Pudzianowski was disqualified from the IFSA for one year from the competition, besides, he was asked to return his prize money. This, however, he did not want to accept, and then a method of the IFSA against Pudzianowski took place, which was ultimately to give him without penalties set.

2009 Pudzianowski began to be active as a MMA fighter. He played two victorious fights for the Polish organizers Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki and subsequently lost the American MMA event Moosin - God of Martial Arts vs. Tim Sylvia. In September 2010 he defeated Eric Esch in Łódź.

In Poland, Pudzianowski has reached a cult status, which helped him to many guest appearances on television and radio broadcasts. So he participated, among others, the Polish version of Dancing with the Stars.
