Mark Andrus

Mark Dean Andrus ( born December 13, 1955 in Los Angeles ) is an American screenwriter.

Life

After Mark Dean Andrus in 1978 his Master of Business Administration received at the University of California, Riverside, he waited for the time, until the law schools where he applied, for the purpose of accepting or rejecting, reported, in a creative writing course, in which he was encouraged his talent to deepen, which is why he decided against a career in jurisprudence, and instead a Master of Professional Writing Program aimed at the University of Southern California. After graduating, he was hired by Norman Lear and then he moved to Castle Rock Entertainment, where with Late for Dinner - A timeless love his first screenplay was filmed.

Then he wrote with Good As It Gets, which was directed by James L. Brooks, his most successful film. For 1998, he received not only a nomination for Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay, but also at the Oscar Awards 1998 Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay, while the film itself has received two out of seven nominations.
