Mark Bridges (costume designer)

Mark Bridges (* in the 20th century in Niagara Falls, New York) is an American costume designer. The designed of Bridges costumes for The Artist have won several awards.

Life

Bridges attended after graduating from high school, the Stony Brook University and completed his studies in " Theatre Arts " with a bachelor's degree. He then worked for Barbara Matera Costumes in New York City as a buyer. After the completion of his work for Matera Costumes Bridges studied at New York University Costume Design and graduated with a masters. He worked then as an assistant for various costume designers, Colleen Atwood, among others, for in the production of the Mob and Richard Hornung. From the mid- 1990s, Bridges designed the costumes for several films of director Paul Thomas Anderson. In 2012, Bridges was honored for his work on The Artist for the first time with the Oscar for "Best Costume Design".
