Mark Clattenburg

Mark Clattenburg ( born March 13, 1975 in Consett, County Durham, England) is a professional English football referee. He whistles in the Premier League and lives in Newcastle upon Tyne.

His league debut came on 21 August 2004 and FIFA referee since 2006. On March 13, 2012, he led the Champions League return match FC Bayern Munich vs FC Basel. FIFA nominated him for the 2012 Olympics in his home country. There he was selected to lead the final between Brazil and Mexico.
