Mark Dacascos

Mark Alan Dacascos ( born February 26, 1964 in Honolulu, Hawaii ) is an American actor with European-Asian ancestors.

Life and career

He is the eldest son of Al Dacascos, founder of Wun Hop Kuen Do (combined Fist fighting style, a style of modern Kung Fu ), whose roots are in the Hawaiian Kajukenbo system. After his childhood in Hawaii, Mark Dacascos spent several years in Hamburg, where he received his black belt in the martial arts school of his father and because of this he speaks the German language as well as English, Chinese and Japanese fluently. After several successes in martial arts tournaments Dacascos devoted himself to acting.
