Mark Dacascos
Mark Alan Dacascos ( born February 26, 1964 in Honolulu, Hawaii ) is an American actor with European-Asian ancestors.
Life and career
He is the eldest son of Al Dacascos, founder of Wun Hop Kuen Do (combined Fist fighting style, a style of modern Kung Fu ), whose roots are in the Hawaiian Kajukenbo system. After his childhood in Hawaii, Mark Dacascos spent several years in Hamburg, where he received his black belt in the martial arts school of his father and because of this he speaks the German language as well as English, Chinese and Japanese fluently. After several successes in martial arts tournaments Dacascos devoted himself to acting.
He was, among other 2001 fantasy film Brotherhood of the Wolf and seeing 2003 action film Cradle 2 The Grave. He also made guest appearances on U.S. series such as Martial Law - The Karate Cop and CSI. Most Popular however, is his portrayal of the killer Yo Hinomura in Christophe Gans ' action thriller Crying Freeman - The Son of the Dragon (1995).
Mark Dacascos is married to actress Julie Condra U.S. since 1998 and the couple have three children together. He met her at the filming of the movie Crying Freeman - know The Son of the Dragon.
