Mark Greig

Mark Greig ( born January 25, 1970 in High River, Alberta ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who spent nine seasons in the National Hockey League and four in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

Career

From 1986 to 1990 Mark Greig played in the Western Hockey League for the Calgary Wranglers and the Lethbridge Hurricanes. At 20 he made ​​his debut in professional team of Springfield Indians in the AHL. For the first time in the NHL, he played in 1991 shortly after he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft by the Hartford Whalers in 1990 already in the first round at a total of 15 positions. In the next ten years he played regularly both in the minor leagues as well as in the NHL. His personal best season he played in 2000/ 01 as a top scorer (88 scorer points) at the Philadelphia Phantoms in the AHL and with 2 scorer points in 7 NHL games for the Philadelphia Flyers.
