Mark Kendall

Mark Kendall ( born September 20, 1958 in Blackwood, † May 1, 2008 ) was a Welsh football goalkeeper and U -21 national team.

Life

Kendall wrote as a teenager, a professional contract with Tottenham Hotspur and played his first league game in November 1978 against Norwich City. After four years he left the club and moved to Newport County AFC. There, with the team he managed to win the Welsh Cup competition and the entry into the European Cup Winners' Cup. In 1986 he moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers, with whom he won the Football League Trophy. As a substitute goalkeeper for Swansea City, he won a second time the Welsh Cup.

Kendall ended at the age of 34 his career as a professional footballer and was a police officer. He was also active in football coach and was awarded Coach of the Year in 2007.
