Mark Kinsella

Mark Anthony Kinsella ( born August 12, 1972 in Dublin ) is a former Irish football player and current football coach, who was active as a player last for Walsall FC. He is currently coached English club Charlton Athletic.

Career

Clubs as a player

Kinsella spent his youth at the amateur club from Dublin Home Farm, where even players like Ian Harte and Richard Dunne had begun their careers. In 1989 he moved to Colchester United. He played seven years for the club. For a fee of £ 150,000 in 1996 undertook Charlton Athletic to 1.75 meters wide midfielder. In the next six years, 1996-2002, he completed 208 league games. In 2002 he left Charlton Athletic and joined Aston Villa on. There he was active until 2004, before moving to West Bromwich Albion, where he played but only briefly. Kinsella's last stop was Walsall FC. Here he played between 2004 and 2006, before he ended his playing career.

Clubs as coach

In 2006, Kinsella took office as a "development manager " at Charlton Athletic. He takes care of the promotion and development of young players of the club.

National

Kinsella denied in 1998 by his first cap for Ireland. In his maturity as a national player, he played 48 games, scoring three goals. Kinsella participated with Ireland at the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea, but Ireland failed in the second round to Spain.
