Mark Lenard

Mark Lenard ( Birth name: Leonard Rosenson; * October 15, 1924 in Chicago, USA, † November 22, 1996 in New York, USA ) was an American actor.

Life

Mark Lenard was born as the son of Jewish- Russian immigrants Abraham and Bessie Lenard. He studied for the Foreign Service to work later as ambassador. Then he began to work as an actor. His future wife, Ann, he met while filming know. With her he had two daughters.

As an actor, Mark Lenard was over 50 years successfully. He achieved the greatest fame through the incarnation of the Ambassador Sarek in Star Trek, who was also the father of Mr. Spock simultaneously. Before he played Sarek, he played the Romulan Commander of a Bird of Prey.

Lenard played in the first Star Trek movie a Klingon captain. Also off of Star Trek played Mark Lenard in series with, he had recurring roles in Mission: Impossible You and Planet of the Apes. Mark Lenard attended Star Trek conventions.

1996 Lenard died of multiple myeloma.
