Mark Letestu

Mark Letestu (born 4 February 1985 in Elk Point, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since November 2011 at the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Mark Letestu began his career as a hockey player with the Bonnyville Pontiacs, for which he was active from 2002 to 2006 in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. In the season 2006/ 07 the attacker played for the team from Western Michigan University.

On 22 March 2007 he received as a free agent contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins, without being ever drafted. For Pittsburgh's farm team, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was towards the end of the 2006/07 season his debut in professional hockey, where he was awarded two penalty minutes in five games. After Wilkes -Barre in the AHL and the Wheeling Nailers came in parallel in the 2007/ 08 season in the ECHL for use, he played in the 2008/09 season exclusively for Wilkes - Barre. In the following season he was mainly in Wilkes -Barre in use, but also gave his NHL debut for the Pittsburgh Penguins, before the Center during the 2010/11 season thanks to his good performances a regular place in the NHL squad of Penguins fought. On 8 November 2011, the Penguins him transferred in exchange for a fourth- round selection in the NHL Entry Draft Law 2012 on the Columbus Blue Jackets.
