Mark Mothersbaugh

Mark Mothersbaugh ( born May 18, 1950 in Akron, Ohio ) is an American musician, composer and singer.

Life

Mothersbaugh is the main vocalist of the New Wave band Devo.

Having already isolated wrote music for television shows and films in the 1980s, he has contributed music and songs to over 90 series and films since the dissolution of the band Devo in 1991, so as to Tape Heads - Crazy on Video (1988) Last Supper - The Last Meal (1995 ), Happy Gilmore (1996 ), Girl, Interrupted (1996 ), Bloody Wedding - The bride must wait (1997), men are to be kissed (1997 ) Breaking Up (1997), Halloween Town - My Grandma is a witch (1998), The second I (2000 ) Sugar & Spice ( 2001), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Incredibles (2003 ) Lords of Dogtown (2004), Envy (2004), Herbie: Fully Loaded - the Love Bug launches (2005 ) Mama's Boy (2007 ), Nick and Norah - soundtrack one Night ( 2008) and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs ( 2009).

So far, Mothersbaugh was honored at the BMI Film & TV Awards with seven awards. He also was nominated three times for a Daytime Emmy Award.
