Mark P. McCahill
Mark P. McCahill ( born February 7, 1956) is an American computer scientist. He has been involved since the late 1980s in the development and popularization of a number of Internet technologies.
Mark McCahill was awarded in 1979 with a BA in chemistry from the University of Minnesota and was later Apple II and CDC Cyber programmers at the Computer Center of the University.
He is considered one of the main developers of Gopher URLs and POP mail.
