Mark Pocan

Mark Pocan ( born August 14, 1964 in Kenosha, Wisconsin ) is an American politician of the Democratic Party. Since January 3, 2013, representing the state of Wisconsin in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Life

Pocan studied journalism at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. After completing his studies he opened his own company in the printing industry. He served as a member of the District Council (Board of Supervisors ) in Dane County from 1991 to 1996 His first political office.

From 3 January 1999 until the end of 2012, he was a follower of Tammy Baldwin Member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. November 6, 2012, he managed to collect as MP for the second electoral district of Wisconsin in the Congress; even here he followed Baldwin, the same time won the election for U.S. Senator. Pocan lives with his life partner Philip Frank, Madison.
