Mark Popovic

Mark Popovic ( born October 11, 1982 in Stoney Creek, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is under contract with the KHL Medveščak Zagreb in the Kontinental Hockey League since May 2013.

Career

Mark Popovic began his career as a hockey player with the Toronto St. Michael's Majors, for by 2002 he was active from 1998 in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2001 in the second round than a total of 35 players from the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, for whom he made ​​his debut in the National Hockey League in the 2003/04 season.
