Mark Protosevich

Mark Protosevich ( born August 24, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American screenwriter.

Life

Protosevich graduated from Columbia College Chicago, where he graduated in 1983. The first movie based on one of his screenplays, The Cell was from the year 2000. At this production, he was also involved as co-producer. For his work he received a nomination for the Bram Stoker Award.

His next film was Poseidon, published in 2006. This disaster movie is a remake of The Poseidon Adventure (1972 ) dar. In preparation for the film went Protosevich traveling aboard the Queen Mary 2

In 2007, he was together with Akiva Goldsman on the script at the end time movie I Am Legend, based on the novel I Am Legend, involved. 2011 was followed by the comic book adaptation Thor, developed the story for the Protosevich in collaboration with J. Michael Straczynski.

His latest project is the American remake of Oldboy, in the Spike Lee directed the film. The film was released in theaters in the fall of 2013. In addition, he is associated with Jurassic Park IV and a film adaptation of the computer game Mass Effect.
