Mark Renshaw

Mark Renshaw ( born October 22, 1982 in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian racing cyclist.

Career

Mark Renshaw was founded in 2004 with the French cycling team Francaise des Jeux professional after he went there last year as a stagiaire. In the same year he was on the track have some success. At the World Cup in Manchester, he won the scratch race and in the Olympics, he finished sixth in the points race. His first professional victory on the road, he celebrated in 2006 after switching to ProTeam Crédit Agricole in Tro -Bro Léon.

For the 2009 season the team moved Renshaw Columbia, later Team HTC -Highroad, where he became the " last man " in Sprinterzug by Mark Cavendish. Because of his behavior in this activity, he was expelled for multiple head bumping during the sprint against Julian Dean and Tyler Farrar Abdrängens of the race after the 11th stage of the Tour de France 2010. Dean, who had previously hindered Renshaw, was not punished. The decision provoked outrage in the Columbia team. In 2011 he achieved his biggest individual success with the overall victory of the Tour of Qatar.

After the dissolution of the team HTC -Highroad Renshaw changed for the 2012 season for Rabobank team that signed him as Sprint captain. Reach him for this team but in 2012 only some minor successes.
